Game ambiance


Hello there! Progress on the game is going well. I might have to pause the development of the game for a few weeks but if all goes according to plan, the game may get out this year (2024!).

As you can see from the many screenshots I have of my game, I have been heavily working on the general ambiance of the game. We now have backgrounds, wall props and more props!

I’ve also been working on cleaning the code, adding features and improving the story. I am still not sure if I should have 3 or 4 chapters. It might be 4 chapters with the last one being a conclusion to the story. Even though the lore isn’t the main attraction, I would love to tell a story that’s compelling enough to get you, the players, to finish the game and explore all the puzzles I’m preparing.

Next I’ll work on improving the readability of the game to make the solutions be clearer to the average player. Obscuring the solution is probably not the best way of creating difficulty.

I’m excited to get this game out (when I consider it ready to).

Also if you are a composer of have resources on how to make your own music without paying hundreds of bucks, please help me :)
